Gargoyle – Elemental-locked, but still deals great damage super-fast. Tizzy – It’s one of the best boss melters in the game with most builds, bar none. Just switch out if you’re mobbing you’ll run out of ammo quick if you do. Found in Arms Race.įree Radical – From the Director’s Cut DLC comes this funky rapid-fire pistol that shoots out additional rockets without the need for alt-fire nonsense. Plasma Coil – One of the best reasons to farm in Arms Race. This SMG kills things really, really fast even though it’s Shock elemental-locked. Even if it fires in a burst rate, this is one weapon that will get you through most of the harder content, regardless of the Vault Hunter you’re using. Found in Arms Race.įlipper – We love the Flipper’s damage output, elemental prowess, and firing rate after its charge. It’s way better on Moze, but it’s great on other Vault Hunters too. Available from the Minosaur and as a World Drop from DLC 3. SMOG – This SMG is significantly better in the hands of a tanky Amara build that doesn’t mind shooting enemies in a stationary manner you need to put up the SMOG’s weapon shields to get the best damage (ie: use iron sights). It’s also great with other classes, just so you know. Get this from the final boss in the Guardian Takedown. Found in the Cartel limited event, which you can now toggle on and off in the main menu screen. The Problem With Most NCLEX-PN Study Guides… ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last year, the Department of Justice announced that it was taking public comment on whether or not to undo the consent decrees it made with the film companies in that case. Paramount that America’s eight largest film companies engaged in illegal “price-fixing conspiracies” in order to “restrain and monopolize interstate trade in the exhibition of motion pictures in most of the larger cities of the country.” In essence, the major Hollywood film companies used their market power to take control over the film industry, all the way down to theaters themselves, in a process known as “vertical integration.” In 1948, the Supreme Court found in United States v. When theaters rely on a handful of films from the same companies to stay afloat, it gives those companies enormous leverage. Independent films and their groundbreaking, influential directors are increasingly relegated to smaller venues, which are also facing a crunch against declining ticket sales and an emerging theater oligopoly (AMC, Cinemark, and Regal) that controls half of all screens in America. As a result, the entire industry has become risk-averse. Movie theaters themselves are struggling to stay afloat, and thus have to rely on big-budget blockbusters that are guaranteed to earn a return. But while independent distribution companies like A24 have been responsible for some of the best and most well-received films in recent years, they increasingly struggle for a spot in major theaters. It may seem positive that independent films represent a greater share of overall movies released. This is despite the fact that these studios have been producing a smaller share of total films released for years now, with more and more coming from smaller studios. When you combine Disney’s massive share of the box office this year with the five next-largest studios, the current “Big Six” have taken in over 85 percent of box office sales this year. Disney’s emergence as a monopoly power in the film industry threatens the viability of creative independent films, places movie theaters under exploitative pressure, limits the diversity of films available, cheapens our culture, and worsens economic and political inequality.įirst comes the problem of independent film distribution. The harmful effects of this are far-reaching, with damage done to competition, wages, business formation, innovation, and more. economy is in the midst of a “ concentration crisis” in which industry after industry is being dominated by one company or a small handful of companies that control markets, and Hollywood is no different. ![]() Even if you consider yourself a dedicated Disney fan, this should concern you. Within the next couple of years, there is a good chance that the majority of all money made from wide-release movies will go into the pockets of the Walt Disney Company. And the 21st Century Fox deal gives Disney post-theatrical distribution rights for hundreds of major films, from Fight Club to Titanic. This isn’t lost on the increasingly franchise-focused company, as Disney is already planning for four more Avatar films. As a result, Disney now stands to profit from franchises like Avatar, Deadpool, Fantastic Four, Ice Age, Kingsman, Independence Day, X-Men, and more. This year, the Walt Disney Company finalized its purchase of most of 21st Century Fox’s assets, including the Fox film studio and Fox’s distribution deal with Regency Enterprises. Since then, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm have been behind another 14 movies for Disney, earning hundreds of billions of dollars in ticket sales and countless billions more in merchandise and property tie-ins. By the end of 2015, Disney had surpassed its 1990s peak thanks to the release of ten wildly successful Marvel films and two Lucasfilm movies, including the start of its lucrative new Star Wars trilogy. ![]() ![]() It's up to you, the teacher, to ingrain the finger replacement technique into your student AT SOME POINT is now the time? Is finger replacement necessary in Twinkle? In spite of the fingering I have placed in the music - the five to four and four to five - your student is most likely to COMPLETELY IGNORE those helpful suggestions and just play "1 - 1 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5." or something like that! This type of piano notation is probably best used as a help to find the notes until you know the melody by heart. Please scroll down the page for the download links. Now you only have to play the beginning of the song again:Ĭongratulations! Now you can play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star as a piano solo with two hands! On the next piano tab the melody is identical: If you want to use fingerings on your left hand you place your little finger above key number 1 and your thumb on number 5 and the other fingers accordingly. On your right hand you can use your thumb to play number 1 and your index finger to play number 2 and so on. What fingers should you use as you play? You can and maybe you use your index fingers on both hands to play but it will be easier to find your notes if you cultivate the habit to use all your fingers. Let's continue this piano lesson with the next line: I guess you have noticed that you only play bass notes together with some of the melody notes. 1/1 means that as you play the first 1 with your right hand you simultaneously play number 1 in the left octave with your left hand. The note to the right of the slash is the bass note. If you use the notes 1-7 in the left octave to play bass notes with your left hand we can notate the melody in the following way: You also have these notes to the left of the middle C. The keys are grouped this way on the whole keyboard. The notes from C to the next C is called an octave. How can you use your left hand? Let's make this piece a little bit more difficult and also more rewarding to play by using your left hand for bass notes. Now you have played the notes C C G G A A G. Now we will start to play the melody Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star: Now you have played a scale with the actual notes C D E F G A B. The white key to the right of C we call 2, the next 3 and so on. This means that when you see the number 1 you are to play the middle C once. This middle C in our type of piano tab is called 1. In our piano tab notation the keys are numbered instead. It is called middle C because on the piano keyboard it is right in the middle, near the keyhole. The middle C on a piano is the first white key that is to the left of two black keys. The first thing we will do is to locate the note C. Tablature is a type of musical notation which will tell you where to place your fingers to play a melody on your piano. In this piano lesson we will use a form of tablature instead of sheet music notation. The melody is from France and the lyrics from an English poem by Jane Taylor. After this learn to play piano tutorial you will be able to play the melody with both hands!Īs you know Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star is a popular nursery rhyme. In this piano lesson you will learn to play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star without the use of sheet music. ![]() ![]() ![]() Scannerz does really nothing but drive and drive related system testing, but it's picking stuff up better than anything else. TechTool Pro wouldn't pick this up, Scannerz did. Long story short - my heads had apparently crashed, but not so severely that they were unreadable. Scannerz immediately started picking up what it calls irregularities - and a lot of them too. I remembered I had this thing sitting around doing nothing and decided to use it. I started getting weird slow downs and went with the "old reliable" TechTool Pro which promptly told me there was nothing wrong with my computer. Essentially a very boring tool UNTIL something goes wrong with your system, at which point it earns it's keep. I got this months ago from their web site. The tech support for this package, at least for me, has been quite excellent. It has it's uses tracking stuff like when IconServicesAgent or MDS are over active, but aside from that i rarely use it. What it can do is identify, via a log file, all or targeted file system events in the system like the name of the file being operated on, the process, the user ID, etc. It's easy to forget what it does and that I even own it. Scannerz comes with Phoenix, Performance Probe, and FSE or FSE-Lite. It's probably the best in the world at this, at least commercially, but don't mistake it with other tools like TechTool Pro or Drive Genius, because it is NOT a work alike or discount version, it's totally different. Scannerz is primarily about system and media scanning. Limited support is provided for third party software RAID implementations. The story sucked, sure, but that was a small part in a long list (for me at least) of why the game sucked so badly. The game was changed up, because Sega admitted to wanting to go after an entirely different audience instead of the one it had built up. The game was a bloody mess in general, and sales reflected it. They should of toned down Ace tank parts, and a specific line of guns especially (people who played 2 know exactly the weapon I mean), to ensure that it didn't make the game so completely one-sided in your favor. They should of dropped all the annoying crap they put in just to fluff out crafting and exasperate people trying to do it. Now, I liked what they did overall with the tank mechanics, and even the research tree. And the entire game was so horribly unbalanced that it was, quite honestly, impossible to find a challenge within it. They didn't even bother trying to 'spruce' up the boss to make his mechanics any different than VC 1.
